2. Contrast Administration:
Contrast material is often used to enhance imaging of blood vessels and soft tissues, providing clearer delineation of pelvic structures.

3. Preparation:
Patients may need to fast before the scan, and in some cases, oral or rectal contrast may be required to better visualize the pelvic organs.

4. Imaging Procedure:
The patient lies on a motorized table that moves through the CT scanner. Multiple cross-sectional images of the pelvic region are captured from various angles.

5. Radiologist Analysis:
The CT images are reviewed by a radiologist to identify abnormalities, evaluate organ integrity, and assess any pathological conditions affecting the pelvic region.

6. Post-Procedure Care:
Patients should hydrate to assist in clearing the contrast material from their system if used. Monitoring for adverse reactions to contrast is also conducted.
