CT SCAN OF FACE & NECK

A  CT scan of the face and neck  is a diagnostic imaging procedure that provides detailed cross-sectional images of the facial bones, sinuses, soft tissues, and neck structures, including the airway, blood vessels, and lymph nodes. It is commonly used to evaluate fractures, infections, tumors, sinus issues, and abnormalities in the neck such as masses or glandular enlargement. The scan involves lying on a table that slides into a CT scanner, where multiple images are taken from different angles.
